Welcome to Guruji Properties. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile pages and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use the Platform. By using it you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Our Role

Guruji Properties is an online platform that connects property sellers, owners, agents and buyers/tenants. We are an intermediary — we are not a party to any actual property transaction, nor do we represent or guarantee the accuracy of any listing posted by users. All deals are between the listing party and the interested buyer/tenant.

3. User Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Any activity that occurs through your account is your responsibility.
• Provide accurate, current and complete information when signing up and keep it updated.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Posting Listings

When you list a property on the Platform, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner, an authorised agent, or have the explicit consent of the owner to list it.
• All information you provide (price, area, address, photos) is accurate and not misleading.
• You will not list the same property multiple times to gain visibility.
• You will respond to genuine enquiries in a reasonable timeframe.
• Listings may be reviewed and rejected at our discretion if they violate these Terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, fraudulent, misleading, duplicate or expired listings.
• Upload illegal, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory or harmful content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or scams.
• Attempt to scrape, hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform.
• Circumvent rate limits, listing caps or verification processes.
• Use the Platform for any purpose that violates Indian law.

Violations may result in account suspension, listing removal and where appropriate, legal action.

6. Free Service & Fair Use

The Platform is currently offered free of cost to listing parties and buyers. Free accounts are subject to fair use limits (such as a cap on the number of listings per non-agent user). We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or charge fees in the future with advance notice.

7. Property Verification

While we make best efforts to verify listings, the Platform does not guarantee the legal status, title, condition or accuracy of any property listed by users. Buyers and tenants must conduct their own due diligence — including physical site visits, title verification through a qualified lawyer, and review of all property documents — before entering into any transaction.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, code, logos, text and original content are owned by Guruji Properties. Content you upload (photos, descriptions) remains your property, but by uploading you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, host and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of running our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guruji Properties shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
• Loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from use of the Platform.
• Disputes, fraud, misrepresentation or financial loss between listing parties and buyers/tenants.
• Service interruptions, errors or unavailability beyond our reasonable control.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Guruji Properties harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your listings, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faridabad, Haryana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
